Two presentations I like the most

My two favorites presentations are snap chat and 3D printer the Lunar base. I really like to use snap chat so i like the student's presentation. Everything she presented is farmilar to me and she also talks about many things that i don't know about it such as there are more than 300 people in their company, and facebook wanted to buy their company but they refused facebook. these are attractive news to me. I like the presentation about 3D printer the luna base too. First i really like his PPT slides. That is really cool and different from the others. And he gave a really clear video to show how 3D printer scan and print the lunar base as well.

Convergence

convergence means synergystic overlapping different techniques . The concept of convergence will be 100% foreign in the next few years , because this trend will be common standards (as it is now quite a lot ) . For example, Apple not only voice communications , but also through visual data of the text , which is a functional Web browser . One third dimension also increased the prosperity of social networks , because the ability to retain today's mobile devices to keep users connected to the network 24/ 7 . Mobile phones may be a more obvious example , but there are many more . All current video game consoles , PS3, XBOX360 and Wii offer Web browsing capabilities , voice and social networks while maintaining the main functions of the game entertainment . The current model cars offer GPS navigation , MP3 players, Bluetooth hands-free communication capability to the car's sound. Convergence future is unlimited, as I said earlier, this is the case , is almost unlimited

What makes a community? Does it provide?

There are many different things in a community virtual or physical . What it needed : 2 or more people , some kind of a desire or obligation people interact interaction infrastructure , rules or regulations taken place and enforced to protect members of the community from harm group. For example , a message board online will have a place for all people to comment , where thousands of people interact . These plates will be withheld, mail, and break the rules or who protected people want to hurt others. The Board usually has a specific purpose , usually concentrated in a particular idea or region. A video game message board is very much like a video game people can talk about it ,such as other people , like video games.

My Presentation

I made a presentation on Monday. It's about MODA-the world's first digital makeup 3D printer which is still in data. Personally I don't like to use makeup and really lazy to use it. MODA could help with my problem, only use finger to selected the red carpet look on it's APP then it will automatically sent to MODA divce. Then place your face into the MODA, which is equipped with a chin rest and forehead-rest. The device, then, scans the user’s face and applies the makeup, made from an FDA-approved, skin-safe concoction, all in thirty second. If the MODA machine is really come out I would like to buy one, then my boyfriend doesn't need to wait me one hour before we go out have dinner.LOL

Extra Credit:Timothy Ferriss’ The 4-Hour Workweek

The book 4-Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferriss covers a myriad of technique in making the most out of life. It features methods on how to earn more and spend less time. These could be keys to hacking one’s life. Timothy Ferriss, the author of the book, is a serial entrepreneur and ultra vagabond who runs a multinational firm from wireless location nationwide, and he is just 37 years old. Given his achievements at a very young age, he discovered the method in making life easier and in being rich in simple ways. This book attempts to enlighten every individual of the possibilities that await them if they only know how to systemize and unlock the basic techniques in life. He considers that with liberation in time, financial resources would follow. Aside from that, real freedom is having tie to spend anyway that you want it to spend. “True freedom is much more than having enough income and time to do what you want” (Ferriss 235). It tells the readers that money is not enough. Having enough time to spend for the things that you want is the real freedom which people tend to overlook. Ferriss’ book is a good read since it gives the readers the keys to improving their lives. It has the techniques that are easy to follow and simple to apply in life. Aside from this, it also contains a number of quotes which add impact to the readers.

Dot. com to Dot. bomb

When the internet commerce industry was in its infancy, many companies tried to get in on the ground floor and make $$$. The presentation in the class easily put these experiences that these companies went through into a tangible view. Watching dinosaurs lumber around, unable to get out of their own way, and being trampled by the smarter and more dexterous companies was an excellent way to demonstrate the dotcom to dot bomb experience. Seeing names of companies that no longer exist and the now adamantite encrusted companies that have risen to top enabled me to visualize the rapid change that industries go through. I compared this bubble and bust to the housing bubble, where it was buy buy buy even if the house was overpriced. Sooner or later the bubble bursts and you are left with economic destruction, and a change in the way companies do business.

3 Things I Would Not Buy Online

First of all I am a super big fan of buy things online. I have get almost 80% cloth that I bought them online. If I have to choose three things I would not buy, those might be cosmetics house and used car I wont buy cosmetics online. I have bought a fake brand eye shadow on amazon once beacause it was 5 dollar cheaper than it sell in Sephora and it was free shipping. Since that happened i wont but cosmetics online anymore. Second thing I would not buy is house. House is where you live could be a whole life, i want my house is prefect so i have to check it in person before I decide to buy it. Third thing that i would not buy is used car. There are some people sell their used car online just because it have some problem but they wont tell you. I think i wont pay before test drive that car.

Internet Scavenger Hunt

On monday Nov, Mr Fry gave us a list of 19 items we had to find on-line and send him the URL's to the info. We have been separated into groups. At first i thought it is boring however, after I get first answer online then I would say i am in it. As i remember there were some questions are not that easier to found its like, "what is my second sister merry name", the questions like these took us almost an hour to finished it but i still don't know whether we got it right. I would say it was a wonderful experience!

It was entertaining to see the predictions from about 10 years ago. Some were reasonable and even somewhat true, and others were quite funny to hear, such as, Googlezon. Reality: Tim Berners-Lee - Created World Wide Web Amazon - Created - 1994 Google - Created - 1998 Blogger - Created - 1999 Friendster - Created - 2002 Prediction: Googlezon - The merging of Google and Amazon never happened. Google Grid - The "grid" never happened, but google does allow quite a bit of file storage for free, for it users. New York Times - No more online paper, only to elderly or elites.
